Informa The Wrap que el actor Brenton Thwaites («The Giver», «Maléfica»,…) está en conversaciones para unirse al reparto de la quinta entrega de «Piratas del Caribe» que se titulará «Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales». Thwaites interpretaría a un soldado británico.
«Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales» está siendo producida por Jerry Bruckheimer y será dirigida por Joachim Ronning y Espen Sandberg y estará protagonizada por Johnny Depp y Geoffrey Rush. Javier Bardem está en negociaciones para unirse también al elenco.
La pre-producción comenzó en octubre y el rodaje se prevé que comenzará en febrero del próximo año. La película también se grabará en los Village Roadshow Studios en la Gold Coast. Se estrenará en los cines el 7 de julio del 2017.
